Alex Morrow, Photographer

Alexander Morrow first started photography back in 2002, as a way to document his extensive travels during his time living in Europe. Over the course of 8 years, he saw the world through a lens, as he visited places such as Prague, Quebec, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, and Barcelona, with his camera always there for the shot. He used this art form to not only capture the people and cultures around him, but also to bring it back home to show others something new.

Alex is a self taught photographer, and freelancer who does a variety of work such as stage, gallery, model, and journalistic photography. His work has been featured in Waterfall Arts brochures, French and Webb's "Spitfire" brochures, and local Maine papers, in addition to various online publications. In conjunction, Alex also works as a cinematographer, editor, short film producer, and web designer for various new media projects.

Morrow's work has previously been shown at Aarhus Gallery, Chase's Daily, and Waterfall Arts of Belfast, Maine. In addition, his work has been shown in New York's Time Square for a launching event by Yahoo. Recently, Alex's photographic ability has been recognized by the Alliance For Young Artist and Writers, who granted him a Gold Key Award to mark his work making the top 10% in the nation.

Alexander Morrow continues to evolve his skills in digital photography, and hopes to expand the themes he captures, even more in the future.
