Kimberly Murphy
Kimberly Murphy (Polly Parker) is the choral director at Camden Hills Regional High School. Under her direction, her select vocal ensembles: Chamber Singers and Women’s Choir have won top awards at local and national festivals including two First Place Gold Awards at the 2006 Heritage Music Festival in New York City.

Kimberly Murphy directs the annual musical at Camden Hills, with favorite titles including Cats, Les Miserables: HS Edition, Nunsense, Footloos, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Little Shop of Horrors, Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof.In addition to directing, Kimberly enjoys performing as a vocalist and flute soloist for local events and acting in various community and professional theaters. Kim has performed lead roles in Once Upon a Mattress, Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Cinderella and Guys and Dolls.

Kim performed in Northport Music Theater’s premier season as one of the Six Women with Brain Death! She looks forward to performing in NMT’s second season and directing the newly formed Musical Theater Camp for kids. A member of MENC and ACDA, Kimberly Murphy is the MMEA All State Choral Manager, a 2007 Maine Teacher of the Year nominee, and recipient of the MMEA District III 2007 Teacher of the Year Award.
